We didn’t have to wait long into Day 2 to hear Jonathan Taylor‘s name come off the draft board as the Indianapolis Colts chose him with the No. 41 overall pick.

The Twitter discussion surrounding Taylor didn’t start with his selection, as Sam Dekker tried to let teams know when the round started what they may be passing on by not selecting Taylor.

The Detroit Lions didn’t listen to what Dekker had to say and took Georgia running back D’Andre Swift at No. 35.

After pick No. 40 Colin Cowherd joined the conversation and tried to will the Colts to use their No. 41 pick on the Badger running back.

Well, at No. 41, with two running backs already taken off the board, the Colts finally listened.

Here is what Twitter had to say about the selection, and it isn’t unfair to say that the public loved the pick.
