Drew Lock reacts to Broncos drafting Jerry Jeudy

Here’s how Drew Lock reacted when the Broncos selected Jerry Jeudy in the first round of the NFL Draft.

The Denver Broncos selected Alabama wide receiver Jerry Jeudy in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft on Thursday evening.

That’s great news for second-year quarterback Drew Lock, who will now have Jeudy joining star receiver Courtland Sutton, tight end Noah Fant and Pro Bowl running backs Melvin Gordon and Phillip Lindsay on offense.

“Jerry Jeudy, baby, let’s go!” Lock said in a video posted on the team’s official Twitter page on Thursday. “Man, as a fellow SEC guy, I’ve watched him make plays for years. I’m just happy you’re on my team, man.

“We’ve got something special rolling here in Denver. Phil, Melvin, we got Court, we got [DaeSean Hamilton], Noah and Tim [Patrick], our o-line’s rolling. You know our defense is going to play well — they always do.”

Lock went on to tell Jeudy to call him and said he’d be willing to go over the team’s playbook with him this evening, tomorrow or any day.
