Vikings draft CB and WR in Peter King’s 1st-round mock draft

It’s draft week, baby!

We’re about to see mock draft galore this week, if you’re not sick of them already.

Peter King posted his mock draft and has the Vikings going with two positions of need with their two first-round picks.

With pick No. 22, King has the Vikings drafting Alabama cornerback Trevon Diggs, the brother of Stefon Diggs.

With pick No. 22, King has the Vikings drafting Clemson wide receiver Tee Higgins.

Drafting the brother of the receiver who just forced his way out of Minnesota doesn’t seem like a great idea. Just gonna acknowledge that.

In King’s mock, he has LSU receiver Justin Jefferson going before Alabama’s Henry Riggs. Jefferson goes 20 and Riggs goes 21. I don’t think that will happen, but if both players are available at 20, I wouldn’t be surprised if the Vikings traded up. Higgins is solid, but I think those two are in a tier above him.

In total, the Vikings have 12 total picks, so plenty of ammo to move up if they’d like.
