The most intriguing QB in the 2020 class, Utah State's Jordan Love, has been busy.
He's connected with the Dolphins, Packers, Colts, Chargers, Colts, Raiders and Saints in advance of the draft later next month.

We should expect the New Orleans Saints to make a move for another quarterback at some point. With just Drew Brees and Taysom Hill under contract for the 2020 season, they’ll at least need more arms just to execute plays during training camp. But how strongly the team values Hill may determine what sort of investment they will make in their third passer.
It’s possible that the Saints are bluffing about their belief in Hill as a future franchise quarterback, and might consider a prospect in the first round of April’s draft. That would make sense in light of a report from Bleacher Report’s Matt Miller, which listed the Saints among a group of teams connected with Utah State quarterback prospect Jordan Love. Each of these teams has already met with Love, or at least scheduled future interviews.
Besides the Saints, Miller included the Miami Dolphins, Green Bay Packers, Indianapolis Colts, Los Angeles Chargers, and Las Vegas Raiders as potential landing spots for the rookie, who is projected to go somewhere in the top twenty picks. The Saints might have to make a trade to land Love given how much competition they’re facing.
The Utah State prospect has a reputation as a gambler prone to turning the ball over, not unlike former first-overall pick Jameis Winston. But while Winston hasn’t been able to grow out of his issues with ball security, Love might be able to. It’s worth noting that Love lost many key starters along the offensive line and in the skills position group before his final year in college, so a better talent level around him could help his chances of succeeding in the NFL.
On the other hand, Love is one quarterback prospect the Saints have been said to be very much not in on. The Athletic’s Larry Holder has been reporting since the combine that the Saints do not have much interest in adding Love to their team, and would prefer to find a prospect who can help immediately rather than sit on the bench for a few years. This could very well be true, but it sure feels like a smokescreen fed to the media from the team, given Saints coach Sean Payton’s past interest in similar prospects like Patrick Mahomes and Lamar Jackson. We’ll find out in a few weeks.
