After spending 2019 on their practice squad, receiver Terry Godwin will be returning to the Jacksonville Jaguars. The team announced that they re-signed the young receiver who will be entering his second season in 2019.

Godwin, 23, was a seventh-round selection of the Carolina Panthers during the 2019 NFL Draft. He was added to the Jags’ practice squad during Week 2 of the regular season and remained on the unit until Dec. 19 when he was placed on the team’s practice squad reserve/injured list.
Godwin attended the University of Georgia while in college and was one of the team’s top contributors in his last seasons. He ended his career with the Bulldogs with 134 receptions for 1,800 career yards and 11 touchdowns.
