Kenyon Martin Sr. told Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN that his son, Kenyon Martin Jr. of the IMG Academy, has declared for the upcoming 2020 NBA Draft.
The three-star prospect originally committed to play the 2019-20 season at Vanderbilt over the likes of UCLA, TCU and West Virginia but instead chose to do a post-graduate year at the IMG Academy after graduating from Sierra Canyon in California.
Martin Sr. told Alex Kennedy of HoopsHype back in August that his son was considering playing professionally either overseas or in the G League but they ultimately decided to go with the IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida.

With Martin Jr. officially declared for the draft, it is unclear if he will hear his name called after last playing in high school. While his draft range is still up in the air, he will have the benefit of training and taking advice from his father, who played 15 seasons in the NBA and was the No. 1 overall pick in 2001.
