News is coming in fast after the passing of the new collective bargaining agreement. According to NFL reporter Tom Pelissero, the salary cap for 2020 is set at $198.2 million.
This would represent a $10 million increase over 2019. But it would also represent only a 5.3 percent bump, the smallest since 2013. Nevertheless, this increase will help teams who are strapped for cash like the Pittsburgh Steelers get their offseason plans underway.
