The entire Washington Wizards organization has been ordered to self-quarantine because of the coronavirus.
That includes players, coaches, and even the front office staff. The team’s medical staff advised them to self-quarantine for the next three or four days after playing the Utah Jazz late last month. They also played the Knicks, who played the Jazz last week. Rudy Gobert tested positive for the coronavirus on Wednesday.
Things are changing so quickly. It was just yesterday that the Wizards ownership group said they’d be ignoring a D.C. Department of Health recommendation to postpone or cancel events with more than 1,000 people present.
The Wizards' ownership group says it will not follow the DC Department of Health's recommendation that non-essential mass gatherings be postponed or cancelled.
"At the current direction of the NBA and NHL, our games will go on as scheduled and be open to spectators."

Now, their entire basketball team is under a self-quarantine order. Life comes at you fast.
This is for the best. Safety is the priority for everyone here and, with games cancelled anyway, self-quarantining is probably the smart thing to do. Hopefully everyone is alright.
