The Philadelphia Eagles need a dynamic playmaker in the 2020 NFL Draft and while it’s unknown if they covet a specific player, one player definitely fits their needs better than any other.
After his dazzling pro-day performance at Oklahoma, CeeDee Lamb cemented his status as the player the Philadelphia Eagles must be aggressive in pursuing during next month’s NFL Draft.
Lamb was smooth and fluid during his pro day, making things look easy as he flawlessly ran routes and made highlight-reel catches against the air.

The Eagles have been linked to Henry Ruggs III, Tee Higgins, and Justin Jefferson for weeks now, but if they can’t have Jerry Jeudy than Lamb should be the player that Howie Roseman mortgages draft assets for.
Lamb was a first-team All-American after a season that saw him post 62 receptions for 1,327 yards and 14 touchdowns. The 6’2” 190-pound receiver, who’ll 21 in April, could give the Eagles the complete weapon that Carson Wentz so desperately needs.

For the Eagles to make such a huge move, they’ll need to divvy up the proper compensation to go from No. 21 to the No. 10 pick at the least.
Last year the Pittsburgh Steelers traded up from pick No. 20 to pick No. 10 in the draft to select all-world linebacker Devin Bush.
Pittsburg had to part with a first-round pick (No. 20), the 52nd overall pick and a 2020 third-rounder. It’ll likely take that haul to get the Eagles from No. 21, up to picks 9 or 10 where the Jags or Browns could target linemen and maybe motivated to trade back and acquire more assets.
Philadelphia has a total of 10 picks in this year’s draft, including 7 in the top 150, giving the Eagles plenty of ammunition to move up if they so choose.

With Joe Burrow, Tua Tagovailoa, Justin Herbert, and Jordan Love likely to go high in the 2020 draft, the cost to move to 10 from 21 could be higher, but Lamb is beyond worth it.
