Tua Tagovailoa is still battling his way back from a gruesome hip injury that ended his 2019 season prematurely. The good news, however, is that he’s making excellent progress and expects to be a “full-go” for Alabama’s Pro Day on March 9.

Tagovailoa also discussed his medicals during an interview at the 2020 NFL Combine, which is taking place in Indianapolis (Ind.) this week:

If the Alabama quarterback achieves full clearance by team doctors, the Crimson Tide’s Pro Day, which already gets a lot of attention, will have even more eyes on it.

As of right now, Tagovailoa is projected by many to be a top 5 pick in the upcoming NFL draft, which is set to take place in April.

And before it’s all said and done, the Honolulu (Hawaii) native could be as high as No. 2 or 3, if a team decides to trade up with the Washington Redskins (No. 2 overall) or the Detroit Lions take him at No. 3 overall.
