Jared Dudley and Ben Simmons are on good terms after what went down in 2019 NBA Playoffs

Jared Dudley recently revealed how things are between him and Ben Simmons after what happened between the Nets and Sixers last season.

Nets fans remember all too well how tense things were between Brooklyn and the Philadelphia 76ers during the 2019 NBA Playoffs.

Things got testy for a few reasons — one being former Nets forward Jared Dudley’s comments about Philly’s superstar point guard Ben Simmons:

I think that Ben Simmons is a great player in transition. Once you slow him up in the half court, I think he’s average when it comes to that.

Simmons then responded in Game 3 by scoring 31 points in the Sixers’ 131-115 Game 3 win at Barclays Center. Of course, Philly went on to win the series 4-1.

And it appears the beef between Dudley and Simmons ended with the series.

During an appearance on ESPN’s “Lowe Post” podcast, Dudley revealed everything is cool between him and the Sixers point guard:

Our relationship was never bad. (During) summertime, when LeBron was having a Space Jam filming at 6 a.m. we had workouts. Ben Simmons came up to me and dapped me up and said, ‘What’s good? How you been?’
