The former Sooner point guard continues to make history in his second season in the NBA.
Trae Young dropped 50 points against the Miami Heat last night, helping Atlanta squeak a 129-124 win at home.
Young, who has already logged nine 40+ point games this season, set a new career-high in his first game back from a memorable first All-Star Game appearance.
Shooting 8-15 behind the line while getting to the free-throw line 19 times, Young was efficient while willing the Hawks to just their sixteenth win of the season.
Alongside his fantastic scoring, Young hauled in two rebounds and dished out eight assists in his takeover.
To put the cherry on top of the night, Young gave his jersey to Migos member and Atlanta native, Quavo.

The performance set Twitter ablaze with people appointing Young as ‘the new Steph Curry’ while others admitted that they were wrong about Young when he was drafted in 2018.
On the season, Young is averaging 30.1 points per game, 4.4 rebounds per game, and 9.2 assists per game while shooting 44.4%from the field and 37.4% from three.
