REPORT: Steve Sarkisian front-runner for Colorado head coaching job

Alabama offensive coordinator Steve Sarkisian may once again be leaving Tuscaloosa,this time to become head coach for the Colorado Buffaloes

According to reports from CBS Sports, Alabama offensive coordinator Steve Sarkisian may once again be leaving Tuscaloosa, this time to become head coach for the Colorado Buffaloes.

Sarkisian interviewed for the job on Wednesday.

CBS reported that “As of Wednesday, the pecking order to replace Mel Tucker is believed to be Sarkisian, Air Force coach Troy Calhoun and former Wisconsin and Arkansas coach Bret Bielema.”

Sarkisian’s last head coaching job ended in 2015 when he was fired from USC. Since then, he has been offensive coordinator at Alabama (twice) as spending a year as offensive coordinator for the Atlanta Falcons from 2017-2018.
