In NFL.com‘s post-2019 quarterback rankings, Buffalo Bills signal caller Josh Allen finished in the middle of the pack. Overall, Allen falls at No. 18.

While Allen’s “clutch” skills are acknowledged with his game-winning drives and comeback totals in the explanation, Allen’s rawness overlaps that.

Here’s how the Bills QB is broken down:

2019 regular season stats: 16 games | 58.8 pct | 3,089 pass yds | 6.7 ypa | 20 pass TD | 9 INT | 510 rush yds | 9 rush TD | 4 fumbles lost

Still far from a finished product, the cannon-armed, fleet-footed 23-year-old showed substantial improvement in Year 2. And he continued to flash a clutch gene, tying for the league lead in fourth-quarter comebacks (4) and game-winning drives (5).

Allen is certainly not a finished product just yet, but he could stand to climb a few quarterbacks above him. Currently in NFL.com’s rankings, Allen sits behind Ryan Fitzpatrick, Derek Carr, Jimmy Garoppolo, and Kyler Murray.

But there are some notable quarterbacks he’s above, too. Those include Phillip Rivers, Jared Goff, Baker Mayfield, and Sam Darnold.

In little surprise, Lamar Jackson and Patrick Mahomes sit at the top of the list. But NFL.com’s analysts couldn’t decide on just one, so they’re in a tie for first. Russell Wilson rounds out the top-three overall.
