National Signing Day has come and gone, and Alabama’s 2020 recruiting class is officially set. There were 25 total members (26, if you count North Carolina grad transfer tight end Carl Tucker) with talent across the board.
In order for fans to get to know the Crimson Tide’s newest players, we have laid out a “get to know them” article for each member.
Next player up is four-star inside linebacker Jackson Bratton out of Muscle Shoals High School in Alabama.

Where does he fit in? While Demouy Kennedy brings the elite athleticism to the inside linebacker position, Jackson brings an overall great feel for the game. He’s got excellent size (6-foot-3, 233 pounds) and instincts which constantly helps him locate and track the football.
Over the last two years, Jackson accumulated 281 tackles, 14.0 sacks, three forced fumbles and five fumble recoveries for Muscle Shoals.
Considering Alabama’s struggles at the position this season, the need for an instinctual player with surprising athleticism could really help in certain situations. It’s a strong possibility that Jackson will be able to earn some reps in 2020, whether that’s on defense or special teams.
