Report: Miami and OKC ‘still unable to reach agreement’ on Gallo trade

ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported Thursday that the Heat and Thunder have yet to reach an agreement on a trade for Danilo Gallinari.

Danilo Gallinari looks like he’s staying put. At least, for the moment.

On Wednesday night, trade rumors were rampant surrounding the status of the Thunder forward as ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported that Memphis, Miami, and Oklahoma City were “working on an elaborate three-team deal” that would send Gallinari to the Heat.

Woj added that trade talks were still ongoing and could continue into Thursday.

Part of the “elaborate three-team deal” included a trade between the Miami Heat and the Memphis Grizzles for veteran wing, Andre Iguodala. With Iguodala headed to Miami, Woj reported that the Heat would send Justise Winslow to Memphis as part of the trade package.

On Thursday morning, Shams Charania of The Athletic reported several new additions to the trade package: Solomon Hill and Jae Crowder to Miami while the Heat sent Dion Waiters to Memphis.

As for the Thunder’s supposed role in this three-way deal, Woj tweeted out an update just after noon EST.

Memphis and Miami are focusing on a two-team deal on Andre Iguodala, with Miami and Oklahoma City still unable to reach an agreement on a three-team trade that would land Danilo Gallinari with the Heat, league sources tell ESPN.

He added that talks are still fluid prior to today’s trade deadline at 3:00 p.m. EST.

Gallinari scored 15 points in Oklahoma City’s win over the Cleveland Cavaliers on Wednesday night. He said after the game that the trade rumors aren’t a distraction and that he doesn’t pay attention to what’s being said in the media, especially on game days.
