The New England Patriots have been to the Super Bowl in each of the past three seasons and are still the defending champions for a few more hours.
This year they went 12-4 and didn’t win a playoff game, as they lost at home to Derrick Henry and the Tennessee Titans in an ugly performance by Tom Brady and the Patriots offense.
Now, wide receiver Julian Edelman – who was the MVP of last year’s game – and the rest of the Patriots will have to join the rest of us in watching the Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers battle for the Lombardi Trophy, in what should be a very good game.
But it seems like it is going to be a rough day for Edelman:
My soul hurts on this day
