The official rosters for the NBA Rising Stars game at All-Star Weekend in Chicago will be released on Friday, the league announced on Tuesday afternoon.
The game features an up-close look at the best rookies and sophomores as they compete in a U.S. vs. World format on Friday, Feb. 14 at 9 p.m. ET at the United Center.
With a competitive class of rookies this season, several first-year players should be expected to participate in the event. Players like Ja Morant, R.J. Barrett, Kendrick Nunn, Eric Paschall and others figure to be among those invited to play.
With Zion Williamson just returning from a knee injury, it is not known if he will participate in the event.
Rosters for NBA Rising Stars will be announced on Friday, Jan. 31 at noon ET, the NBA announced.

Last year, Kyle Kuzma earned MVP honors after leading Team USA to a win over Team World with a game-high 35 points while Jayson Tatum added 30 points for the U.S. Ben Simmons led Team World team with 28 points.
