The Philadelphia 76ers are shaking things up in their starting lineup on Saturday when they host the Los Angeles Lakers. With Josh Richardson injured with a left hamstring strain, coach Brett Brown is making the interesting decision to start Shake Milton in place of Richardson.
Milton, who filled in for Richardson on Wednesday against the Toronto Raptors, will get his first start of the season and will be playing in only his 14th game of the season. He is averaging 4.3 points and 0.8 assists while shooting 36.5% from the floor.
With Milton on the floor, the Sixers plan on using him in the ball-handler roll more and have Ben Simmons continue to be the roll man in the pick-and-roll. This move to start him enforces that idea.

The other Sixers starters remain the same as Matisse Thybulle continuing to start in place of the injured Joel Embiid.
The move to start Milton is an interesting one considering the circumstances as one could have assumed that Furkan Korkmaz would have gotten the start. Nonetheless, the Sixers are turning to the young guard out of SMU in a prime time matchup with the Lakers. [lawrence-related id=24202,24182,24175]
