On Tuesday, Leigh Steinberg, Tagovailoa’ agent spoke with AL.com and shared very encouraging news.
According to Steinberg, Tua is expected to be healthy by April, and will hold about a 40-minute session in which he makes 60-80 throws in front of scouts.
If he’s ready, it will happen at Alabama’s pro-day in March. Otherwise, Tagovailoa will have another Pro-Day where he can prove he’s healthy and ready for the NFL.
Steinberg also shared that Tagovailoa will attend the combine in Indianapolis and go through interviews with teams, but that Tua will not participate in drills or throw.
