Oklahoma (11-3, 2-0) is off to a great start in conference play with wins over Kansas State and Texas. The Sooners play their second road game of the week as they head up to Iowa to take on Iowa State (7-7, 0-2).
After winning just two Big 12 road games last season, Lon Kruger’s squad immediately has a chance to tie their road win total. Oklahoma earned their first win in Austin, TX., since 2015 earlier in the week.
With a short turnaround and a roster full of young players who may not have experienced back-to-back road games on two days rest, the Sooners have to be careful not to fall victim to the Cyclones.
