Russell Westbrook will play in Oklahoma City on Thursday night for the first time since he was traded to the Houston Rockets in exchange for Chris Paul during the offseason.
The former MVP is expected to receive a warm reception after spending the first 11 seasons of his career with the Thunder. Westbrook will receive a video tribute, something the Thunder have been reluctant to do with former players.
With Westbrook set to return to Oklahoma City, Thunder rookie Darius Bazley decided to pay homage to him. Although Bazley never played with Westbrook, the first-round pick wore a pre-game outfit similar to something Westbrook has worn in the past.

Westbrook and the Rockets previously defeated the Thunder on Oct. 28 as the two teams will play a total of three times this season with Thursday night the lone matchup set to take place in Oklahoma City.
The impact that Westbrook had on the Thunder was tremendous. While his accomplishments on the court have been well documented, Westbrook was also a pillar in the community with his charitable work.
