Josh Allen catches touchdown pass, Bills stun Texans with early trick play

The Bills got off to a perfect start against the Texans on the road.

The Buffalo Bills entered NRG Stadium in Houston on Saturday hoping to break one of the longest playoff win droughts in the league and win the franchise’s first playoff game since 1995. Josh Allen’s offense couldn’t have gotten off to a better start on the first drive of the game.

Allen, who leads all quarterbacks with nine rushing touchdowns this season, showed off his speed with a 42-yard rush to bring the Bills inside the red zone.

Two plays later, the Bills ran a trick play pass for wide receiver John Brown, who found a wide open Allen down the left sideline after Allen snuck out of the pocket on the play. Allen made the catch, took a hit at the goal line and flipped into the endzone to put the Bills on the board.
