After announcing his intentions to return for his senior season, it appears Alabama linebacker Dylan Moses hasn’t made up his mind just yet.
One of the top linebacker prospects in the country, Moses was widely considered a top-10 pick in the 2020 NFL draft class before a torn ACL just before Alabama’s season opener sidelined him for the entire 2019 season.
Earlier this week, Moses posted the kind of elaborate announcement we’ve come to expect from top prospects deciding whether to stay in school or jump to the pros, taking to his Instagram to announce his return to Alabama:
But Thursday, that same account posted a lengthy statement from his father, asserting Moses’ decision has yet to be made, citing an ongoing claim regarding his “loss of value” insurance policy:
It appears Moses’ camp is still working through the details of their insurance claim, and they don’t want to make a premature decision without having all their options considered in every direction.
Underclassmen have until January 21st to officially declare for this year’s draft, so it looks like Bama fans and NFL teams alike will have to wait a little longer to know at what level Moses will be making plays next season.
