The Philadelphia Eagles are a gold standard franchise in the NFL and with that comes other organizations hoping to steal away some of their brightest assets.
This past summer, the Jets dented the Eagles front office personnel when they hired away Joe Douglas to become the teams’ general manager.
NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport is reporting that Eagles executive vice president Andrew Berry is among the general manager candidates to watch this offseason.
Berry was hired by Howie Roseman last February after serving as the Cleveland Browns’ vice president of player personnel. With his specialty being analytics and still only 31 years old, Berry is viewed by many as an up-and-coming talent in the NFL
Berry graduated cum laude at Harvard and played cornerback for the Crimson as well.
