Tom Brady impressed upon fans and media members the importance of the New England Patriots’ matchup against the Buffalo Bills in Week 16 at Gillette Stadium.
He backed up his words on a play in the first half on Saturday. On a reverse play, Brady ended up as the lead blocker for receiver N’Keal Harry. And Brady executed a textbook cut block on Bills cornerback Tre’Davious White in the open field, which helped Harry pick up an 18-yard gain.
You don’t really want your 42-year-old quarterback serving as a lead blocker — unless, of course, it pans out exactly like it did on this play.

Think Tom Brady understands the urgency of this game? He just threw a cut block on Tre'Davious White to help spring N'Keal Harry. #Patriots pic.twitter.com/pA9Fj006c0

Tom Brady with the textbook downfield cut block on Tre'Davious White.
Also, the Patriots' offense is so much more fun to watch when N'Keal Harry is being used like this.

Brady already outperformed Marshall Newhouse with that block

Look at that cut block by Brady. Thing of beauty.

42-year-old Tom Brady just threw a block about 8-10 yards down field on that N'Keal Harry run.
