Ben Simmons on Spencer Dinwiddie: ‘I love the way he plays’

Spencer Dinwiddie helped lead the Brooklyn Nets to a win over the Philadephia 76ers on Sunday — and he turned some heads in the process.

Spencer Dinwiddie had another impressive performance for Brooklyn on Sunday. The point guard scored 24 points for the third game in a row, marking the 13th time he’s scored 20 or more points in the last 15 games — all of which Kyrie Irving has missed due to a right shoulder impingement.

In the course of his 9-for-21 shooting performance (2-for-4 from three), Dinwiddie caught everyone’s attention when he posterized Sixers forward Tobias Harris in the third quarter. It served as yet another example of how the point guard has elevated his game to another level.

And the league has taken notice — including Sixers point guard Ben Simmons, who praised Dinwiddie after their matchup on Sunday:

He’s aggressive. He’s very talented. He gets downhill, loves downhill. He just plays. He plays with that freedom. I love the way he plays, but he dominates.
