The Philadelphia Eagles are back atop the NFC East standings after thrilling come from behind victory over the New York Giants in overtime.

With the 23-17 win at home, the Eagles moved to 6-7 on the season, tied with the Dallas Cowboys for first place. The Cowboys still hold the tiebreaker because of the head-to-head win earlier this season.

With week 14 in the NFL completed and three weeks remaining in the 2019 regular season, the NFL playoff picture is coming together quickly based on the current NFC standings.

Here is an updated look at the NFC playoff picture and where the Eagles stand.

The Rams’ win over the Seahawks moved them within a game of the Vikings for the final wild-card spot and they hold a head-to-head tiebreaker over the Bears, also.

The Eagles’ remaining schedule is still strictly NFC East opponents as Philadelphia will visit the Washington Redskins in Week 15.

If Philadelphia can get to Week 16 unscathed, they host the Dallas Cowboys in a game that is likely to decide the division. The Eagles will then close out the regular season with a Week 17 matchup against the Giants at MetLife Stadium that could still be must-win.

The Eagles’ only path to the playoffs remains winning the NFC East over the Cowboys.
