In case you didn’t already know, George Kittle is not easy to tackle.
The New Orleans Saints and San Francisco 49ers played one of the season’s more entertaining games on Sunday in what could end up being an NFC title game preview.
The game had everything. Emmanuel Sanders tweeting mid-game after throwing and catching touchdowns. The Saints melting down over a correctly non-called pass interference. And, yeah, George freaking Kittle setting up a game-winning field goal by refusing to go down amid a virtual mauling by a quarter of the Saints defense.
This could end up being the biggest play of the Niners’ season.

On fourth down and San Francisco down a point with 39 seconds to go, Jimmy Garoppolo connected with Kittle who broke free for a huge run down the sideline.
The effort took three Saints players and one of the more egregious facemask penalties ever by Marcus Williams to stop Kittle. (Turn your sarcasm meter on for the tweet)
Where’s the face mask? I don’t see it. Typical BS call. pic.twitter.com/N0TS9OehnY

You almost have to respect Williams’ shamelessness there. Usually players grab the facemask and try to let go. Williams continued to commit the penalty and hold the facemask for, oh, about 15 yards.
The penalty set up Robbie Gould for a last-second chip shot and a 48-46 win.
