The Washington Redskins won’t have wideout Trey Quinn this weekend thanks to a concussion suffered a week ago during a win over the Carolina Panthers.
Quinn was back deep to field a punt in the second quarter and got hit in the facemask by the crown of an opponent’s helmet as he attempted to field the ball.
Panthers wideout DeAndrew White was fined $28,075 for his unnecessary roughness hit on Quinn. He wasn’t the only player from the game fined, as a Redskins player got hit in his wallet too for a hit he delivered during the game.
Quinn’s injury sidelines him this weekend and until he clears concussion protocol.
