Larry Fitzgerald is his idol
You’ll be hard pressed to find a better player on and off the field to idolize than Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald. Davis and Fitzgerald are a bit of a different type of player, as the 16-year vet has size but is shifty all over the field. Davis is mostly a go-up-and-get-it type of guy, for now. Still Davis says he sees similarities in his game to Fitzgerald and admitted that Fitzgerald is the guy he looks up to.
“Speed isn’t everything when it comes to receiver,” Davis told NJ Advance Media at the combine. “Larry Fitzgerald isn’t the fastest guy but he always finds separation and is always catching touchdowns.”
Good news for Davis, the Bills do play the Cardinals next year and he’ll be able to cross paths with Fitzgerald.
