The world was a little different the last time Georgia won a college football national championship.

It finally, finally, finally happened for the Georgia Bulldogs. After running up a seven-game losing streak to Alabama, Georgia came out on top in Monday’s College Football Playoff National Championship game, winning 33-18 in a rematch of this season’s SEC title game.

The Bulldogs have been waiting decades for this moment, and when defensive back Kelee Ringo picked off Alabama quarterback Bryce Young with about a minute left in the game, it was all over.
