Michigan players saw some movement in Draft Site’s latest full seven-round NFL mock draft, with one going as high as the second-round.
While that selection is neither Cesar Ruiz — who’s been making his way into some recent late first-round looks, nor Josh Uche, who impressed greatly at the Reese’s Senior Bowl, there are few surprises in the year-long prognostication site’s choices.
For the 2020 class, DraftSite sees eight Wolverines selected, but there are still a few notable omissions.
Round | Pick | Player | Team | Position |
2 | 47 | Ben Bredeson | Atlanta Falcons | OG |
3 | 80 | Cesar Ruiz | Las Vegas Raiders | OC |
3 | 104 | Josh Uche | Pittsburgh Steelers | OLB |
4 | 137 | Donovan Peoples-Jones | Denver Broncos | WR |
6 | 201 | Shea Patterson | Buffalo Bills | QB |
6 | 204 | Lavert Hill | Buffalo Bills | CB |
6 | 210 | Jon Runyan | San Francisco 49ers | OG |
7 | 255 | Khaleke Hudson | Denver Broncos | S |
While we still think Michael Onwenu, Mike Danna and Josh Metellus are likely to get selected in April, we’ve only seen the latter make his way onto recent mock drafts.
We still think Uche in particular is too low, with Patterson potentially too high, given the field of other mock drafts, as well.
Speaking of Uche, Pittsburgh would have an absolute steal if it was able to secure him to go along with fellow former Wolverines LB Devin Bush Jr. next to him.
Assuredly, all of the aforementioned players will have their chance to shine later this month in Indianapolis for the annual NFL Scouting Combine.
