One-two punch
Along with Courtland Sutton, the Broncos offense also has a one-two punch in their backfield and both are pretty good. Royce Freeman and Phillip Lindsay will likely be the best duo of backs on one team the Bills defense will face this season.
Freeman has 195 yards rushing this year and averages 4.0 yards per carry while Lindsay is up to 651 yards, averaging 4.9 yards per carry. Lindsay has the 13th most yards among running backs in the NFL this season. Lindsay has five touchdowns to Freeman’s two this season while both also feature in the passing game as well.
Of course, an offensive line plays a part here, too. According to Pro Football Focus, expect the Broncos to run behind the left side of their offensive line. Left tackle Garrett Bolles (68.5), left guard Dalton Risner (66.3) and center Connor McGovern (64.6) all land at above average grades or higher in their grading system.
Phillip Lindsay's speed off the cut is dangerous 😡😡 @I_CU_boy pic.twitter.com/6wOnOOBCfo
