Back-to-back fumbles
Here’s a pretty cool highlight reel for Butler from last season. A pretty funny one, too.
In the second quarter of an October game for the Panthers against the Buccaneers, Butler forced back-to-back fumbles. Both times he hit Bucs quarterback Jameis Winston.
On the first, Butler’s fumble was recovered by Tampa Bay center Ryan Jensen. On the next play, Butler’s fumble was recovered by teammate Bruce Irvin. As you can tell by his celebration, despite the pileup on the ball on the second strip-sack, Butler knew his teammate had it:
🚨FILM ROOM🚨
Here are the consecutive strip sacks from Vernon Butler. Back to back plays. Quite a rare feat.
I give 92 a ton of credit. I had my doubts, like many others, coming into the season. He has performed at a high-level in 2019.
Love the celebration at the end. pic.twitter.com/o4LfhEGzuo
