RB Adrian Peterson

No one likes to see it, but Derrius Guice has another knee injury. That will see an uptick in snaps and touches for Adrain Peterson in the Redskins backfield. They do play a strong opponent in the Eagles this week, the third-best run defense in the NFL, but Peterson had at least 13 carries over the past few games and had 20 last week when Guice went down. Peterson also has back-to-back games with rushing scores.

RB Patrick Laird

Patrick Laird was the lead running back for the Dolphins last week with a season-high 15 carries and that should continue against the No. 20 overall run defense in the NFL. His 3.2 yards per carry average isn’t much to get excited about, but for PPR leagues, he’s had back-to-back games with four catches as well and had a touchdown two weeks ago. He might not win you your league with big numbers, but Laird is a solid option for some points.

QB Eli Manning

Is Eli Manning really back? Well, he could be for at least one more game. While the Dolphins have won a surprising amount of games this season, they’re still not good and that’s who Manning and the Giants have en route next week. Against the Eagles, another subpar secondary, Manning performed well enough with 203 yards and two scores.
