8 draft prospects for Rams fans to watch in CFP National Championship

The Rams should have an eye on these eight prospects in the national championship game between LSU and Clemson.

Clemson

OL Tremayne Anchrum

Anchrum plays tackle right now, but he projects best at guard in the NFL. His versatility is something the Rams could covet, however, with the ability to play inside and out. He’ll go up against LSU’s talented pass rushers on Monday night, which will be a good challenge for him.

OL John Simpson

Simpson would fill another need on the offensive line for the Rams, likely as a Day 2 pick. He’s especially good in the running game and possesses the requisite power to play guard in the NFL. His physicality would be reminiscent of Rodger Saffold’s days at left guard, which was an asset for the Rams’ running game.

CB A.J. Terrell

Terrell could sneak into the first round this April, but it’s more likely he’ll be a Day 2 pick because of this being a deep cornerback class. He’s a physically gifted athlete who rarely gives up big yardage and is experienced playing outside. In fact, he hasn’t given up more than 60 yards in a game.
