Philadelphia 76ers rookie guard Matisse Thybulle is out indefinitely with a right knee sprain and a bone bruise, according to Ky Carlin of the Sixers Wire.
The first-round pick will be re-evaluated in two weeks.
Thybulle suffered the injury on Saturday during a 125-108 win over the Washington Wizards when he recorded nine points in 16 minutes off of the bench.
The news of the injury arrived at perhaps the worst time for Thybulle. He had started to turn the corner recently on offense after some stellar play on both ends of the floor.
Thybulle has rated as one of the best defenders in the NBA this season and is shooting 54.5% from 3-point range during the month of December. In 30 games, Thybulle is averaging 4.8 points, 1.4 steals and 1.2 assists.

With Thybulle expected to miss some time, the Sixers recalled Shake Milton from the G League to help fill the void while they could also rely more on Trey Burke as well.
