A masked up Matisse Thybulle was among those citizens to cast his ballot over the weekend as the Philadelphia 76ers forward helped encourage fans to hit the polls ahead of Election Day in Pennsylvania, and around the United States.

Thybulle has used his platform to raise awareness for social injustices and police brutality and has consistently urged fans to vote. He has often stressed the importance of voting this year, which was a big reason why he chose to wear “Vote” on the back of his jersey during the season restart.

The 23-year-old posted a video on the 76ers’ official Twitter account and reminded fans that Monday was the final day to register to vote ahead of Election Day.

The 23-year-old said in July that he was inspired by his father, who grew up in Haiti under a dictatorship, to help raise awareness to vote. Thybulle believed that Americans should exercise their right to vote and help influence change.
