Philadelphia 76ers rookie Jaden Springer recently linked up with teammates Matisse Thybulle and Paul Reed for some workouts ahead of the 2021-22 season.

The three players were pictured recently with NBA trainer Chuck Howard of League of Champions training in Phoenix, Arizona. They each went took turns going through various workout routines in the gym with weights and other resistance training.

Springer, who was the 28th overall pick, completed a strong showing in the Las Vegas Summer League last month, averaging 11.2 points, 2.6 assists and one steal in five games. He wrapped up his stay by recording 21 points for his best performance in Las Vegas.

The opportunity to get into the gym with a couple of his new teammates should help Springer with the transition to the Sixers. He showed off his offensive and defensive ability in summer league and looked to be productive on the court so it appears to be going well to this point.

Coming in as a rookie, Springer will have to impress in training camp and the preseason to earn playing time but he could eventually develop into a strong option off the bench over time.
