A family affair

And finally, hey, that’s cool.

Bills linebacker Tremaine Edmunds will faceoff against two brothers in this one. Running back Trey Edmunds and safety Terrell Edmunds will be suiting up for the bad guys. It’s the first time that three brothers will suit up in the same game. Joe, Cobb, and Bill Rooney suited up for the…Duluth Eskimos… all the way back in 1927, according to the release from the Bills.

The Bills’ brother was the No. 16 overall pick in 2018 behind Josh Allen at No. 7. Terrell Edmunds was the No. 28 pick in that same first round. Trey Edmunds, the rusher, is the eldest brother. Tre and Terrell were teammates at Virginia Tech while Trey transferred to Maryland from VT and took the scenic route to the NFL as an undrafted rookie free agent, signing with the Saints in 2017, before joining the Steelers last season.

Terrell is a staple in the Steelers’ secondary next to Minkah Fitzpatrick while injuries to James Conner and other running back have allowed Trey to see touches as of late, too.
