The Broncos’ seven players on injured reserve account for nearly $17.7 million worth of salary cap space this season.

After reaching an injury settlement with outside linebacker Christopher Allen and releasing him, the Denver Broncos now have seven remaining players on injured reserve.

Those seven players account for nearly $17.7 million worth of salary cap space, according to OverTheCap.com.

The biggest cap hit on IR is wide receiver Tim Patrick, who is set to miss the entire 2023 season with a torn Achilles. The next biggest cap hits on IR are cornerback K’Waun Williams ($2.88 million) and safety P.J. Locke ($1.39 million).
