There’s still plenty of space

Sure, Norman might’ve signed a decent deal with a $6 million base salary for Josh Norman. That just showed Beandon Beane wasn’t afraid to tack on a few every dollars to get a deal done, probably, considering reports indicate a few other teams were also interested in Norman.

But even in doing so, the Bills are still sitting pretty on the salary cap look. Since Norman’s deal hasn’t been officially inked yet, Spotrac still reflects the Bills having $83 million in cap space, the fourth-most in the NFL. Doctoring things down from Norman’s contract, Buffalo still have around $77 million in cap space. Actually, they almost don’t even drop in the NFL rankings.

The Giants do now have more cap space than Buffalo, but barely, $77.8 for Big Blue to $77.1 for Bills Mafia.

Whether if the Bills are looking to spend more in free agency on March 18 when the market opens, or if the Bills want to start re-signing some of their own, there’s still plenty of cap space to go around.
