Will the pass rush continue to thrive?
In the past three games, the Bills have had 15 sacks. That’s helped bring the Bills to 37 total sacks this season, which puts them in the No. 8 spot in the NFL in terms of total sacks. In recent years under Sean McDermott, the Bills have sat as an average at-best type of pass rushing team. Lately, they’re pretty elite at it.
Rookie Ed Oliver has started to see more playing time after losing his starting spot to Jordan Phillips, who still continues to pace the Bills with 7.5 sacks himself. Against the Ravens, getting to Lamar Jackson, and even better, bringing him down, will be a big factor that’s easier said than done.
Buffalo’s run defense has played better, but was beat up a bit by Zeke Elliot last week. The Bills got lucky he only had 12 carries Still, the Bills aren’t facing any normal “rushing” offense with Jackson under center, but that’ll be important, too.
