Who wins Lamar vs. Josh part 1?
Along with playing against the MVP favorite, this game will round out things for the Bills’ rookie QB against his own draft class. He’s faced Josh Rosen (kind of), Baker Mayfield and Sam Darnold several times now. We’ll round out the 2018 first round QBs with Lamar Jackson on Sunday.
It’s almost a fitting time for these two to partake in their first meeting. As this article opened, nobody expected the Bills and Ravens to be close to calling the shots in the AFC with the Patriots still around, but it’s possible. That reminds one of the 2018 draft. Mayfield and Darnold got plenty of praise as top-three picks while a faction of Bills fans actually preferred Rosen, not Allen, during the run up to the draft. Because of their question marks as passers, and Jackson’s lack of agent during the pre-draft hype process, many slept on Allen and Jackson. Well… oops.
