Is this more than a blip for Cole Beasley?
Back-to-back big games for Cole Beasley, including one against his former team in the Cowboys just last week.
The Bills’ slot receiver ace has had six catches in his past two games and also has scored. Combined, he has 186 totals yards of offense. The Bills have another big game this week, so will Buffalo offensive coordinator Brian Daboll continue to dial things up for Beasley? Teams might be coming around on John Brown, but it’s hard to defend two efficient targets and it’s a luxury the Bills haven’t often had over the past decade or two.
In Beasley, the Bills got two complete games in back-to-back fashion. Earlier this year he would get catches, such as eight against the Bengals, but then would only muster up 48 yards. Or he’d score, like against the Redskins, but only had two catches for 12 yards. The past two weeks proves Beasley can put things all together. We’ve all discussed that Josh Allen could have benefited from Daboll moving his play-calling to the coaches booth upstairs, but perhaps it’s helping out Beasley, too.
