6 Alabama players projected to go first round in latest USA TODAY 2021 NFL mock draft

USA TODAY’s latest 2021 NFL mock draft predicts six Alabama Crimson Tide stars in the first round, with Najee Harris peaking in the teens.

19. Washington Football Team – Jaylen Waddle, WR

Waddle likely would have been in the conversation for the Heisman trophy if he did not get hurt. And while he was out for most of the season, he is still a top-three wide receiver in this draft class. the Football Team needs to field a stronger offense and Waddle will be a game changer, assuming he performs at the same level he did when at Alabama.

16. Arizona Cardinals – Najee Harris, RB

Najee was arguably the best running back in all of college football in the 2020 season. It seems rare to have a running back drafted in the middle of the first round nowadays, but Najee is clearly worth it. Arizona has a strong offense headlined with Kyler Murray and DeAndre Hopkins. While they have fellow Alabama product Kenyan Drake, he’s not seeming to be the long-term answer.
