5-star WR Dakorien Moore sets commitment date with Oregon Ducks among top contenders

5-star wide receiver Dakorien Moore has announced that he will make his college commitment on the 4th of July.

There will be some fireworks on the Fourth of July.

Will they be green and yellow? That much is left to be determined.

On Wednesday afternoon, 5-star wide receiver Dakorien Moore announced that he would be making his college commitment on 4th of July at 6 p.m. PT. He is set to choose between the Ducks, Texas Longhorns, Ohio State Buckeyes, and LSU Tigers.

Moore, the No. 1 WR in the 2025 class and No. 3 overall player in the nation, was previously committed to LSU, but he backed off of that commitment earlier this year.

Moore has taken several visits to Eugene, including an official visit last month. Right now, it feels like the Longhorns are the most likely spot for the 5-star, but it would not be a surprise at all for Dan Lanning and Junior Adams to reel him in.

Regardless of where he commits on Thursday, don’t expect the runner-up teams to stop recruiting him, Oregon included. This feels like one that will go all the way up until signing day in December.
