Five-star defensive line recruit Elijah Griffin, who is the No. 1 player at his position in the country, names his top three schools

The Georgia Bulldogs have already built an extremely strong 2025 class, and recent projections have indicated that more good news could be coming soon. On Sunday, the Bulldogs received more positive news in the recruiting world, as five-star defensive lineman Elijah Griffin included the Bulldogs in his top three schools, along with Southern Cal and Miami.

Griffin is listed at 6-foot-5, 285 pounds, and is rated as the top defensive lineman in the nation and fourth overall recruit. Griffin plays high school football at Savannah Christian Prep in Savannah, Georgia, making him a major in-state priority for the Bulldogs in the class of 2025.

Griffin had a remarkable junior season, racking up 97 tackles, 31 tackles-for-loss, and 17.5 sacks. In addition to football, he also participates in track and field. Griffin is targeting an October commitment date, and the Bulldogs are heavily favored to land him at the moment, per 247Sports.

Georgia currently has the third ranked class in the nation, trailing only Alabama and Ohio State. The Bulldogs currently hold commitments from four-star Christian Garrett and three-star Stephon Shivers along the defensive line.
