Clemson’s 2023 college football season has not been the one the team and fans were hoping for, and with seasons like this come questions.
One of the biggest questions comes in recruiting not only for future recruits but ones already committed to the program. When other teams smell blood in the water, they attempt to take advantage. While it isn’t overly common, a commitment flip is a real part of recruiting.
One of the top wide receivers in the 2024 recruiting class and one of Clemson’s top commits, wide receiver Bryant Wesco, knows all about this, as there are no doubts coaches are still attempting to flip the 5-star receiver. Thankfully, Wesco is fully committed to the Tigers, tweeting that he is “100% locked in to Clemson.”
The 6-foot-2, 170-pound pass-catcher is the No.5 wide receiver prospect and the No. 21 overall prospect in the class of 2024, according to 247Sports composite rankings. Out of Midlothian, Texas, Wesco is one of the Tigers’ two five-star commitments in the class.
